- Engagement
- Full-time position on the Human Data team
- Location
- Toronto, or remote within Canada.
- Compensation
- $80,000–110,000 CAD / year. Salary range; the offer depends on experience.
Join the Human Data team early. Build and test environment components, grading pipelines and tooling alongside senior engineers.
Scope of work
- Implement tools, state and checks for environments under review.
- Build and maintain grading and reporting pipelines.
- Write tests and documentation for every delivered package.
- Support client evaluations and fix what they surface.
Qualifications
Solid Python, an interest in ML systems and evidence of shipping working software. New graduates with strong projects are welcome. Toronto or remote within Canada.
- Communicate your reasoning clearly and apply detailed instructions consistently.
- Work within agreed confidentiality, data-access and quality requirements.
- Complete a relevant assessment and calibration if invited for a project.
Working arrangements
Projects may involve creating examples, annotating approved material, scoring AI responses or reviewing other expert contributions. The scope, hours, tools and review process are provided before you accept.
Some engagements can be completed remotely from Canada. Others may require a client-managed workspace or a controlled physical environment.
