- $75–115 CAD / hour. Project rate and payment terms are confirmed before work begins.

Scope of work
- Write underwriting scenarios with the decision and its reasoning.
- Grade model decisions against guidelines and appetite.
- Flag products or coverages that do not exist in the guidelines.
- Review classification and limit recommendations.
Qualifications
Commercial or personal lines underwriting experience at a Canadian insurer or MGA. Current with guidelines and classification practice.
- Communicate your reasoning clearly and apply detailed instructions consistently.
- Work within agreed confidentiality, data-access and quality requirements.
- Complete a relevant assessment and calibration if invited for a project.
Working arrangements
Projects may involve creating examples, annotating approved material, scoring AI responses or reviewing other expert contributions. The scope, hours, tools and review process are provided before you accept.
Some engagements can be completed remotely from Canada. Others may require a client-managed workspace or a controlled physical environment.
