- $60–100 CAD / hour. Project rate and payment terms are confirmed before work begins.
Wildfire, forestry and water-management experience applied to imagery, field reports and the questions a model must answer about them.
Scope of work
- Label aerial and satellite imagery for forests, water and change.
- Write field scenarios with the correct operational response.
- Grade model readings of imagery and reports.
- Flag conditions that require escalation.
Qualifications
Experience as a wildfire technician, forestry professional, hydrologist or resource officer with a Canadian agency or operator.
- Communicate your reasoning clearly and apply detailed instructions consistently.
- Work within agreed confidentiality, data-access and quality requirements.
- Complete a relevant assessment and calibration if invited for a project.
Working arrangements
Projects may involve creating examples, annotating approved material, scoring AI responses or reviewing other expert contributions. The scope, hours, tools and review process are provided before you accept.
Some engagements can be completed remotely from Canada. Others may require a client-managed workspace or a controlled physical environment.
